Convenient GP care, wherever you are in the UK
Our video consultations offer a convenient way to access GP care at a time and place that suits you.
And don't worry — although we are based in Chelmsford, our GPs can provide video consultations to patients wherever they are in the UK.
Whether you're at home or away, you can speak to a GP without the need to travel to a surgery or wait in a waiting room.
We're a small, independent private GP practice. Our video consultations give you the convenience of accessing GP care online, while retaining the personal approach and continuity of care that comes from seeing a familiar GP.
Video consultations are suitable for a wide range of conditions, but they aren't right for every situation. Your safety is always our priority.

Not sure if your symptoms are suitable for a video consultation?
If you think your problem can be assessed and managed by a GP without a physical examination, a video consultation could be a convenient option.
If you're not sure, don't worry. Our reception team can help you decide whether a video consultation is appropriate before you book.
Please note: you must be physically in the UK at the time of your consultation.
Please do not book a video consultation if:
If you have an emergency, or your symptoms are severe or rapidly worsening, please seek urgent medical help rather than booking a video consultation.
If you're unsure whether your condition is suitable for a video consultation, please speak to our reception team or email us before booking. We're happy to help.
Before your appointment, we'll email you a link to join your consultation.
You'll need:

You'll speak directly with one of our GPs by video.
The GP will assess your symptoms, discuss your concerns and advise you on the most appropriate treatment or next steps.
Video consultations can be used to assess and manage a wide range of common conditions, and your GP will let you know if they need any further information or assessment.
Sometimes, during a video consultation, your GP may decide that you need a physical examination or further assessment in person.
If this happens, don't worry. Your GP will explain why an in-person assessment is needed and advise you on the most appropriate next step.
Depending on your symptoms and how urgently you need to be seen, this may include contacting NHS 111, your NHS GP, an urgent treatment centre or another appropriate service. If your symptoms require emergency attention, you will be advised accordingly.
Your GP will make sure you understand what you need to do before the video consultation ends.
Your safety comes first. A video consultation will never be continued simply because you have booked one if your GP feels that you need to be physically assessed.
If your GP feels that medication is appropriate following your consultation, your prescription can be emailed to you.
You can then show the prescription email to a pharmacy of your choice, who can dispense the medication for you.
As with any GP consultation, a prescription will only be issued when the GP considers medication to be clinically appropriate.
We're a small private GP practice, and we believe that good healthcare is about more than simply dealing with today's problem.
You can use us for a one-off health concern, but if you'd like ongoing private GP care, you can return to us and, where possible, see the same GP again. Over time, your GP can get to know you, your health and your circumstances.
We value continuity of care and building a relationship with our patients, while recognising that video consultations have their limitations.
Our online service is not intended to replace your usual NHS GP or other face-to-face healthcare services. Some aspects of your care, such as a physical examination, blood tests, monitoring or other investigations, cannot be carried out by video. If these are needed, your GP will advise you on the most appropriate way to arrange them.
Where specialist input is needed, your GP can also provide referral letters or recommend onward referral, where clinically appropriate.
