Let’s face it, going to see a GP is never going to be the nicest thing you do but I have to say that Dr Abeyratna made it as pleasant as it could possibly be. I received a same day initial appointment and follow-up appointments were made to suit my busy timetable. The online booking system works well, giving a clear indication of available appointments with the Doctor of your choice. Dr Abeyratna is kind, caring and professional. My examination was very thorough. I felt I had time to explain my concerns entirely and did not feel rushed. I was very comfortable speaking to her and I felt I was really being listened to. She was very understanding, spent time in explaining and answering questions and felt reassured that my problem was understood. Test results come back very promptly and results are emailed to you as soon as the Dr has reviewed them, along with clear advice as to how best to proceed. Dr Abeyratna is a very caring, compassionate doctor who went out of her way to get me the treatment I needed. I must also mention the Reception staff. They are utterly helpful, polite and friendly. My experience at Phoenix Hospital Chelmsford Private GP services was excellent and nothing could have been done better. Thank You!![Google]()

Dr Abeyratna has been our family GP for years. We have two small children who regularly pick up things at nursery / school and so we have quite a lot of GP visits. Having a GP who knows our family and our history and who genuinely cares for our wellbeing is absolutely invaluable. She goes above and beyond to ensure her patients get the best care and progress well with treatment. She listens attentively and is very thorough, her bedside manner is excellent and I trust her judgment implicitly (I have not had this experience with other doctors). I have also personally experienced a number of gastro issues and saw a consultant specialist who totally dismissed my symptoms. I discussed this with Dr Abeyratna who got me a second opinion which lead to me having surgery which has completely cured the issues I was having. She is worth every penny and more. I should also add that Dr Graham and Dr Onen are both excellent too and we have seen them with our boys also on occasion. Cannot recommend this surgery more highly.![Google]()

I couldn’t be more grateful for Dr.Alev Onen. After two years of being very unwell with no diagnosis, I now have a diagnoses. Dr Alev Onen spent a great deal of time with me. I highly recommend the Phoenix hospital, all the staff I dealt with were kind and helpful, the GP I saw was especially caring and everything was explained to me clearly and made me feel at ease, plenty of parking as well which is always a bonus nowadays.![Google]()
