Video Consultations

Our video consultations are an easy and convenient way for you to access our GPs for help at a time, and in a place that suits you. However, video consultations may not be appropriate in some circumstances and patient safety is our utmost priority.

Please read the information below to establish if a video consultation meets our required criteria.

DO NOT BOOK VIDEO CONSULTATION:

  • Problem will likely require a physical examination. Pain, lumps, possible infections are examples of conditions that we would like to see you for as a face to face consultation.
  • Problem requires immediate or urgent medial assessment and treatment or is potentially life-threatening. Conditions such as suspected sepsis, a possible heart attack or stroke. If this is the case, you should go straight to your nearest A&E

If you are unsure if a video consultation is appropriate for you, please do discuss with our receptionist or email us with your query and we can help you decide.

BOOK A VIDEO CONSULTATION:

  • Your problem can be managed over a video consultation
  • If you are residing in the UK at the time of your appointment.
  • You are over 18 years of age if you are the patient.
  • If the appointment is for a child (17 years and under), you must be the legal guardian or parent and you, yourself must be over 18 years of age.
  • You can show a photographic ID to confirm

If during the consultation, we feel it would be better to see you in person we will arrange this for a time that suits you.

We can face time across a variety of platforms such as Skype, MS Teams and Zoom however we find WhatsApp tends to work best for us. If you are happy with WhatsApp, please make sure you have it downloaded on your phone. If you would prefer that we contact you using one of the other platforms please specify this at the time of booking the appointment.

We look forward to helping you.
